Pediatric Care

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine dealing with the health and medical care of infants, children, and adolescents from birth up to the age of 18. The word “paediatrics” means “healer of children”

Helen or Erin will examine children regularly to assess their growth and development. She’ll treat children who have minor illnesses, acute and chronic health problems, and growth and development concerns. Helen or Erin will order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to obtain information on medical condition and determine diagnosis.

Helen or Erin will:

  • Do physical exams.
  • Give recommended immunizations.
  • Make sure your child is meeting developmental milestones in growth, behavior, and skills.
  • Diagnose and treat your child’s illnesses, infections, injuries, and other health problems.
  • Give you information about your child’s health, safety, nutrition, and fitness needs.
  • Answer your questions about your child’s growth and development.
  • Refer to and collaborate with a specialist should your child become ill and need care beyond Helen’s expertise.
